American Wheatley Air & Dirt Separators
The American Wheatley HVAD High Velocity and STAD Standard Velocity Coalescing Air & Dirt Separator is intended for use on commercial HVAC, institutional, and industrial applications to remove entrained air and particulate from system water. We accomplish this with the use of a high-performance saddle ring coalescing assembly internal to the separator. The American Wheatley HVAD & STAD series coalescing type air & dirt separator is capable of removing 99.6% free air and 99% of the measurable entrained and dissolved air with continuous circulation. Solids to 20 microns can be eliminated within 100 passes of continuous circulation.
American Wheatley Bladder Expansion Tanks
Bladder expansion tanks are needed in hydronic heating and cooling systems to absorb the expansion force that results from temperature changes of the heating and cooling fluid. This prevents water logging and air absorption as well as prevents excessive corrosion.

American Wheatley’s Balancing Valves are designed for installation in hot water heating and chilled water air conditioning systems and serve to achieve a hydronic balance between the various circuits of the system. We offer several kinds of Balancing Valves like Globe Style Flanged or Threaded Style designed for precise balancing and low-pressure drop toggle operation. American Wheatley Suction Diffusers/Flow Diverters
The American Wheatley suction diffuser/flow diverter is designed to reduce space and installation costs by replacing the 90° elbow, strainer, and stabilizing entry pipe on the suction side of the pump. It can be directly mounted in a horizontal or vertical position, and includes a separate fine mesh startup screen surrounding each perforated screen.
